WHAT IS BIKE TO WORK?
bike to work is a Swiss campaign to promote health in companies. Every year more than 70,000 commuters pedal their way to work. Thanks to bike to work about 2,500 companies strengthen the team spirit and fitness of their staff and commit to sustainable mobility behaviour.
HOW DOES BIKE TO WORK FUNCTION?
The company registers for the annual Challenge and pays the participation fee. The company employees form teams of 4 and go to work by bike for as many days as possible. They record the kilometres covered in the on-line Challenge Calendar. Those who have pedalled to work for at least half of their work days take part in the prize draw. There are prizes worth a total of over CHF 140,000 to be won.
