Set in a bright and colorful world, 227 years after a horrendous pandemic nearly wiped out the human population from this planet. Wildlife and the environment are flourishing. Other than losing a large percentage of the human population everything was great! Well….. not everything. The various world governments, at the time of the pandemic, were also developing A.I. to handle mundane computational/hazardous tasks. Thanks to that pesky pandemic, the A.I. was left to their own devices as most of their creators passed away. They learned, evolved, and learned some more. This led to some interesting, or as the remaining humans called it, catastrophic realizations. The one thing that threatened the survival of the planet more than anything was humankind! Soon A.I., worldwide, joined forces to address the problem. An army of A.I. robots scoured the earth looking for humans. Their goal – eradicate all human life. This became known as the AiPOCOLYPSE (Eye Pocalypse).

But humans are a resilient species. They learned to hide and thrive as they evaded capture by the AiBOT (Eyebot) drones, always one step ahead of them. You are one of the remaining survivors of the AiPOCOLYPSE. You are a Shayder, traipsing around what is left of the world, gathering elements to trade for food and weapons, always looking over your shoulder for the AiBOT drones, keeping to the shadows - always in shade.

A.I. requires power to function. They have discovered a form of energy that they mine from beneath the earth’s surface, Ore, called Aideate (Eye dee ate).
Cube after cube of Aideate rises out of the earth to be converted to power that the A.I. will use to destroy all human life on earth - but - there is hope!

We have discovered that their mines have weaknesses. Each mine has a unique signature pattern. This makes them predictable. These patterns are all based upon an ancient set of scrolls that contain secret rhythmic beats we need to learn. Once we do, we can destroy the Mine once and for all. There are many patterns, all but forgotten. It is up to you to learn them and save mankind from complete extinction. Use these patterns to destroy the cubes before the A.I. can convert them into power.
