About SIMA
The João e Maria Backheuser Institute provides,
to partner municipal networks, the Literacy Monitoring System (SIMA),
a proprietary platform for real-time entry and analysis of results by student, class, and
school. Based on SIMA data, we train teachers, school administrators, and the technical staff of the Secretariats to plan and implement actions focused on combating
educational inequalities and ensuring literacy for all at the right age. SIMA is
one of the project's legacies for the Education Network.
