About Aquabiosmart
We are a group of biologists, who in the last 10 years have generated information on the use of biological indicators to evaluate the quality of aquatic environments in Peru. This application is used to identify families of aquatic macro-invertebrate larvae through images. Each family shows different degrees of tolerance to pollution, which is represented by scores. The sum of scores allows the quality of rivers and lagoons to be calculated, which will be transmitted in real time to a georeferenced virtual platform with public access.
