Dasadhamma Sutta transmits a set of ten contemplations or reflections suggested by the Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) to his monks. In this discourse, the Buddha identifies "ten things" (dasa dhamma) that renunciates (pabbajita) should reflect upon often. A Buddhist monk needs to perform constant introspection on the path to ensure that s/he adheres to the virtues of the Eightfold Path and attains the highest merit.
