About Celia
Celia is an application that helps users determine whether a product contains gluten by scanning barcodes or reading ingredient labels.
Additionally, a chatbot is implemented to provide users with advice, recipes, or any other information they may need. To retrieve information about a specific product via barcode, we integrate the collaborative open database Open Food Facts, which compiles data from around the world. We implement an OCR process to extract information from ingredient labels to analyze the captured text, searching for user-defined keywords.
