About Steinsaltz Daily Study (Beta)

The Steinsaltz Center is an organization promoting and supporting all of the activities of Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz. It serves as an umbrella organization for all of Rabbi Steinsaltz's Israeli and worldwide institutions, activities, and initiatives.
The main goal of the Steinsaltz Center is to promote the Rabbi's vision of "Let My People Know" – making the world of Jewish knowledge accessible to all.
Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz has elucidated the Jewish canon. He produced the complete commentary and translation of Judaism's seminal works – from the Bible to the Talmud, and from Jewish philosophy to kabbalah, a modern and accessible explication of Jewish texts is now available to the world.
His works constitute a priceless treasury of Jewish ideas and values. To enable them to truly be timeless and survive for centuries, the Steinsaltz Center is beginning another large-scale project – digitalizing Rabbi Steinsaltz's writings, books, and commentaries. Anyone interested in any element of this treasury will easily find whatever they search for or wonder about in the endless paths of ideas, philosophy and tradition, all connected by relevant hyperlinks. Schools, synagogues, libraries, community centers, and individuals will benefit from the opportunity to acquire the entire canon so that it will be available to them anytime, anywhere.
The initial portion of the Jewish canon to be digitalized includes:
• 24 books of the Bible (English and Hebrew editions);
• 13 volumes of Mishnah (Hebrew);
• 42 volumes of Talmud (complete editions in Hebrew and English; partial in Russian and French);
• 8 volumes on Maimonides' Code of Jewish Law (Hebrew);
• 9 volumes on Tanya (Hebrew) (English edition currently being translated);
• 30+ individual books on topics such as the profound meaning of basic concepts, Chasidut, Jewish holidays, philosophy, and sociology (with some translated into up to a dozen languages).
