Shima is a private shared photo album for keeping photos, videos and notes with your family, your partner or your closest group. A family photo gallery where every picture stays on the day it happened.

It is not a social network. No feed, no public profiles, no followers, no ads. Just you and your family photos, organised by day.

HOW IT WORKS

- Create a space: private (just you), shared (with whoever you invite) or hidden (under lock).
- Invite with a link. Up to 10 people per space, at no cost to them.
- Upload today's photos and videos, or import a whole album from your phone: every photo lands on the date it was taken.
- Write the note of the day: what happened, who was there, why you'll remember it.
- React with an emoji, a comment or your voice, on a photo or on the whole day.

WHAT MAKES THIS SHARED ALBUM DIFFERENT

- A day-by-day timeline. Open the calendar and see at a glance which days hold memories.
- A gallery by month, with a monthly summary and albums.
- Voice reactions. Sometimes a "so lovely" said out loud means more than a heart.
- A hidden space for two people: you and whoever you choose. It doesn't show in your list, opens with fingerprint or PIN, and blocks screenshots and exports inside.
- As many spaces as you want, with the GB where you decide: each one draws from your plan's shared pool or reserves its own.
- Donate GB: any member can lend storage from their own plan to a space, and the owner accepts or declines. Sharing family photos can also mean sharing the place they live in.
- Warm dark mode that follows your system.
- "On this day" and a home screen widget: memories come back when the date does.

YOUR PHOTOS ARE YOURS

- Private photos, stored in the European Union and encrypted at rest.
- No facial recognition. No scanning your photos for advertising.
- Delete means delete: when you remove something, it is really gone.
- Export your data or delete your account whenever you want, from the app.

MODERATION LIKE A TRUSTED GROUP

Whoever creates the space decides: they can remove anything and manage who joins. Each member manages their own uploads. If someone leaves, what they shared stays until the owner removes it.

Free with 1 GB to get started. You pay for storage, not for seats: Premium with 50 GB from €2.99/month, and plans with 200 GB (€5.99/month), 500 GB (€12.99/month) and 1 TB (€19.99/month), cheaper if paid yearly. The plan is entirely yours and you split it across your spaces; being invited is always free.
