What? Shrom is the field guide for identifying wild mushrooms in Israel — based on the official database of the mushrooms.org.il website, with over 800 mushroom varieties, and works even without internet reception.

Found a mushroom in nature and not sure what it is? The app allows you to identify mushrooms based on what you see in the field: the color and shape of the cap, the structure of the hymenium (leaves), the color and shape of the leg, the type of ring, the growing conditions, and more.

Safety first:
Each mushroom is clearly marked as edible, poisonous, or of unknown edibility. A separate screen explains what to do in the event of mushroom poisoning, and the rules for safe identification and collection.

Works even without internet:
The entire mushroom database is stored on the device. You can search, filter, and identify mushrooms in the field even without reception — in the forest, in the field, or on a trip, exactly when you need it most.

Smart search and filtering:
Search for any mushroom by its Hebrew or Latin name, filter by visual characteristics, save mushrooms to favorites, and discover similar mushrooms that may be confusing.
