Melo is an audio-based social media app created to connect artists and listeners in a guaranteed fashion—think of it as a combination of TikTok and SoundCloud, where you are fed an endless stream of really cool music from artists you've never heard of. In addition, you get to invest directly in an artist early, and if they blow up then you can benefit monetarily and prove that you actually were a first believer.

So how does it really work?

For Artists:

Gone are the days where you have to act like a content creator just to fit into social media. Melo is a "one-stop shop" for promoting your music; our algorithm ensures that we will find your quality, long-term audience for you. We’ve structured our community to allow everyone a much higher potential to go viral than traditional social media outlets. We also understand how hard it is to make money as a musician in today’s day and age, especially as an up-and-coming rockstar like yourself :). So, we’ve decided to allow everyone to create, share, and invest in each other's music through Artist Membership Club tokens. These tokens allow avid fans exclusive access to your community, shows, merch, whatever you want really! We will work with each artist personally to create their own membership token for their Melo community.

Finally, we want to provide growing artists easier access to record labels and publishing deals. Of course, it's totally up to you if you want to opt in; this app is created by an independent artist FOR artists, so we will always support whatever you choose.

For Listeners and Fans:

Melo is the place where you can benefit from being the first to discover the next big thing! Not only is Melo a gamified and enjoyable experience for immersing yourself within your own curated up-and-coming artist community, but you can monetarily benefit from holding an artist's Membership Club token. Adding a specific artist's Membership Club token to your collection allows you exclusive access to their music, live shows, meetups, merch, and more. When they make it big, the value of your token goes through the roof, and you can sell it for much, much more. So not only is there utility in replacing the old and decrepit song recommendation playlists in Spotify/Apple Music, etc, and the limited features of artist support platforms like BandCamp, but you can be rewarded for your dedication to quality artistry!
