The Mauritius Arya Yuvak Sangh is the youth wing of the Arya Samaj in Mauritius. The MAYS in short, regroups youngsters all around Mauritius who have an affinity with the Arya Samaj Movement. The Arya Samaj promotes a sound physical, mental and spiritual development of a human being. The MAYS is in line with the objectives of the Arya Samaj.
The Arya Samaj movement was founded by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati in 1875. At that time India was far from the true knowledge of the Vedas. Swami Dayanand came back as a savior to mankind and brought back people to the right track as mentioned in the Vedas. Swami Dayanand in his magnum opus, the Satyarth Prakash showed special consideration to the youth. He dedicated two chapters of the book on to how youngsters should be brought up and what are the pros and cons of the society.
The Mauritius Arya Yuvak Sangh has pretty much evolved and with advancements in technology it has become a must for the organization to keep up the pace.
